Another busy week in the books. It seems like these changes are becoming second nature to me. For in the past, weeks like the last one would have surely derailed me, or at least stalled my progress. We’ve had sick kids, entertained guests, and were entertained by others. We ate out, cooked in, and even had desserts around. Through it all, I managed to pull a pretty good weight loss this week. I’m very happy and motivated to keep going.
Previous Weight: 189.2
Current Weight: 186.6 lbs
BF: 23%
Right now, my only complaint about anything is that I’m still not getting enough exercise. I’m doing awesome with my calorie intake and tracking. I track everything unless I didn’t prepare it myself–and I’m doing a very good job of avoiding foods that I don’t prepare. But, I’m only doing my running for the half marathon. 4 days a week with times ranging from 40 minutes to 1.5 hours isn’t even covering the minimum daily exercise guidelines set forth by the government. I really have intentions to hit the gym on the three non running days, but I’ve found it really difficult to get there.
So my goals for this week are to continue the progress I’ve been making with my weight loss and nutrition, but to also get to the gym on the three non running days. I don’t want to get up at 4:30 to go to the gym these days. But once I get back into it, it’s pretty easy–I’ve done it before.

Hey Mac,
You sure do like charts! Maybe you’ve done it in the past, but could you post exactly what the chart means and how you created it? I get the fact that a downward sloping chart is a good thing, but not much else. What are those little red peaks? Just days when you weight spiked?
Keep up the good work.

4 running days a week ranging from 40
minutes to an hour and a half? sounds pretty good to
me. Or are you saying TOTAL weekly times of 40
to 90 minutes?
@harm: last week was 30, 44, 30, 90. This week is going to be 50, 56, 40, 90. And next week will be 50, 40, 40, 50. If I can add an hour of cross training and an hour of weight lifting to the week’s totals, I’d be ecstatic!
Nice downward trend!
Great job! I’m envious of that downward trend!
