I ate broccoli last night for dinner.
I did not hate it, and I did not die.
Afterward, Kris sang with glee. (I am not joking.)

YAY! What’s your next veggie endeavor? I love certain vegetables but have to force myself to eat them. I think I might try Brussel sprouts again, maybe I might have the same reaction you did with broccoli! Happy veggie eating!

A little bit of low-fat cheese goes a long way to add (or cover) flavor.
The Spaghetti Factory serves the broccoli with Mizithra; quite tasty.

Your post almost sounds like a Dr Seuss story.
“I ate broccoli, yes I did.
I am J.D. and I do not kid.
I did not die and I was not en-tranced.
Afterwards, my wife did a little dance.”

So would the rest go something like…
Monday I’ll try the broccoli sprout.
Will I like them? This I doubt.
Tuesday we’ll have carrots and peas.
Are THESE good? Tell me please.
Wednesday is for cauliflower.
I don’t think they’re made with good white flour.
Thursday I’ll have pinto beans.
No one will come near — know WHAT I mean?
Finally. Friday is pizza day!
Never thought I’d cry HURRAY!
Sorry. I have little kids and get way too much Dr. Seuss.
Glad you like it.

bacon salt. add a little bacon salt & pat of butter to your green beans they will be derlicious. makes them taste exactly how they do at the outback steakhouse actually. my wife always swore they cook them in bacon. you can get it online.

You could probably tweak this a bit to come up with a haiku…
