This is just a quick note to welcome those of you stopping by from Get Rich Slowly.

Get Fit Slowly will be a GRS companion site devoted to fitness. I believe that the same philosophy that I’ve used to get my financial life under control can also be applied to physical fitness. Crash diets are like get rich quick schemes — they just don’t work.

Unlike Get Rich Slowly, I have no intentions to run GFS alone. I can’t do it on my own. I’ve managed to take control of my finances through sheer force of will, but I need support to take control of my diet. I’ll be writing this site with Mac, one of my closest friends. (In fact, as you may already have noticed, Mac has most of the content here so far.) Together we’ll embark upon a quest to reach and (more importantly) maintain healthy lifestyles. We hope you’ll join us.

Get Fit Slowly isn’t yet ready for prime time. We’re working on it. Our official launch date is 01 January 2008. Until then, we’ll be posting from time-to-time, working out kinks, etc. Feel free to leave feedback, but don’t think of this as a full-fledged blog just yet.
